11 UNDER $100: Shopbop

Welcome to 11 UNDER 11 UNDER $100, a new series where I talk about the most affordable options on all your favorite sites, dropping every Saturday afternoon. If you’re anything like me, you have a near-constant hankering for new clothes but don’t exactly have the budget for it. I spend hours browsing page after page of shoes and bags waiting to see something in my price range. When I do find something, you better believe I click ‘add to cart’ faster than I can devour a few slices of pizza after a night out.

Shopbop was an obvious first choice for me: It’s the place I check first when writing stories for Marie Claire and The Zoe Report. The selection is expansive but also curated, making it super easy to accumulate wish list after wish list of dreamy dresses. On this list, I didn’t limit myself to simply clothes. I’ve got everything from sunglasses to slides to the perfect slip dress, so there’s something for everyone. If there’s a site that you want me to check out in the future, leave it in thee comments. Happy shopping

1. Pintuck Ditsy Floral Dress, ENGLISH FACTORY, $75

This is the perfect summer dress. It’s lightweight, which means that you won’t overheat. But, you can wear it with black boots and a cropped leather jacket come fall to make it work year-round.

2. Pearl Drop Earrings, Jules Smith, $65

Try adding a new pair of earrings into your daily routine this summer. This style from Jules Smith is an upgraded version of your classic hoop thanks to its longer shape and pearl accent.

3. Savage North South Crossbody, 33 Savage, $98

A white bag adds interest to any summer OOTD. The tortoiseshell accent will match perfectly with your favorite pair of sunnies. Try swapping this bag in for your usual black bag on a night out or on a day full of errands.

4. Savannah Stripe Mini Dress, The Fifth Label, $84

On the hunt for the perfect sundress-turned-coverup? This frock from the fifth label has you covered. The pale print will look perfect over a neutral bikini. For extra wear-time, swap your flip flops for a pair of strappy sandals and you’re good to go for a night out.

5. Altona Bustier Top, WAYF, $89

Romantic tops are everywhere right now, and this option from WAYF has all the key elements of the trend. Ruffled shoulders? Check. Fitted bodice? It has that, too. Dreamy light florals? Double check.

6. Beautiful Stranger Sunglasses, Le Specs, $69

I can’t make a summer roundup without a pair of neutral shades. This style from Le Specs has a cat-eye shape that isn’t too exaggerated, so it won’t make you look too trendy.

7. The Crew Tee, Hanes x Karla, $30

A basic white tee might seem, well, basic, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t have an arsenal of them in your closet. This version from Hanes’ collaboration with celebrity stylist Karla Welch is designed to have a slightly oversized fit, making it perfect for off-duty days.

8. Ciao Bella Mules Espadrilles, Soludos, $85

I know that I said I was terrified of wearing slides in one of my recent posts, but I would make an exception for these from Soludos. The playful design is perfect to wear to the beach or out with friends — or on your next Italian vacation.

9. Monterey Shorts, Cupcakes and Cashmere, $88

If denim shorts aren’t really your thing, try out this pair of linen-blend ones from Cupcakes and Cashmere. The deep gray color means that you can wear them with a light or dark shirt — they’re bound to become the most versatile item in your closet.

10. Caroline Gold Necklace, Shashi, $55

The shell trend is refusing to die this summer. This white and gold option is a more delicate way to wear the style. Try layering it with your usual assortment for a modern update.

11. Penelope Slip Dress, Charlie Holiday, $89

Slip dresses are one of summer’s biggest trends year after year. Think of them as the answer to your scorching-weather woes. This poppy-colored version will accentuate your tan, and can be dressed up or down depending on your accessories. A pair of clean white sneakers will make it perfect for the day time, while a pair of white heels take it into the night.
